WCHA coaches pick Denver No. 1, Bemidji State No. 10 in Grand Forks Herald preseason poll

The Grand Forks Herald released its WCHA Preseason Coaches Poll Wednesday.

Denver was picked to win the league with seven first-place votes and Bemidji State was picked No. 10.

Jaden Schwartz was named the Preseason Player of the Year and North Dakota’s Rocco Grimaldi was named the Preseason Rookie of the Year.
